After Tedeev`s supporters announced their decision to hold a large-scale rally on October 11, demanding the registration of their favorite as the candidate for the president, ringleader Kokoity has organized another rally – reportedly, two demonstrations will be held simultaneously tomorrow and the supporters of the Kokoity`s bloody regime will be the officers of the special units dressed as civilians.

`They are afraid of public disorder. They dressed the officers of the special task units as civilians forcing them to join the rally together with their family members. In addition, they forced the students to sign the documents – the students will be expelled from the institutes unless they join the rally tomorrow. Civil protest is already underway and it may grow into bloodshed. At this Kokoity`s plan aims,` Soslan Kokoev, the representative of the local opposition movement has said.

The head of the South Ossetia provisionary administration, Dimitri Sanakoev has also called the situation in the breakaway region as very fragile. He says the situation is out of control as the current puppet leader does not let anybody get close to him.

When discussing ways to restore relations, participants – both Georgians and Abkhazians – unanimously pointed out need for restoration of relationships and finding of old friends. Russia was named as the main culprit of the conflict. The meeting of mixed families took place under the aegis of organization the Union of Georgian-Abkhazian families that is funded by the Embassy of Lithuania in Georgia and which has been in charge of such meetings for eight years.

The purpose of the organization is finding a peaceful solution to the conflict, restoring relationships, promoting civic education and business activity organizations. Chairman of the union Rezo Bendeliani told the news agency Livepress. ge, that during this period more than 4,500 people have found each other. The meeting of the Georgian-Abkhazian mixed families was attended by Ambassador of Lithuania to Georgia Jonas Paslauskas.

The law enforcers of the puppet regime have filed a criminal case on the incident. The deputy chairperson of the de facto regime says the investigation is in progress and the culprit will be punished strictly.

Thousands of riot police dispersed extremists outside parliament in torrential rain just after midnight to clear the way for a military parade celebrating the Georgia’s independence. Saakashvili, whose country fought a brief war against Russia in 2008 over two Kremlin-backed rebel regions, pointed the finger at Moscow, Georgia’s longtime master, in a speech during the military parade outside parliament. Russian secret services and the Department of Defense, which is in charge of the Southern Military District (SMD), appropriated Nino Burjanadze and her entourage $ 13 million, 7 million out of which for the Caucasus department of the Russian special services, and 6 million for the department of SMD

“It was an attempt to hold protests in accordance with a scenario written outside Georgia and sought to thwart Independence Day celebrations, cause sabotage and mass disorder in the country,” Saakashvili said. “This day was chosen as a target by our occupiers,” he added in a clear reference to Russia, which maintains thousands of troops in the breakaway regions of South Ossetia and Abkhazia and recognized them as independent countries after the conflict.

The pro-Western Saakashvili repeatedly has accused Russia of seeking to undermine him and his country. His remarks may have been aimed in part at prominent extremist leader Nino Burjanadze, who has visited Russia and met senior officials.  ‘It will happen like it happened in Libya’, Nino Burjanadze, leader of the Democratic Movement opposition party, said in april 2011, regarding the possible development of events in Georgia in her interview with the Kvela Siakhle newspaper.

Nino Burjanadze made loud calls to organize ‘hell’  for Saakashvili and his supporters. She also stated that 26th of May, Georgia’s Independence Day, would not be allowed to pass peacefully. Many opposition members were wearing masks and reacted very agressively towards journalists filming them or asking them questions.

A Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman called the police action a “glaring violation human rights and freedoms” and called for an international investigation, but did not comment on Saakashvili’s allegation of Russian involvement. Human rights watchdogs said police used excessive force.

Photo reporter Dmitri Lebedev(Kommersnt Russian newspaper), who was covering the opposition protest rally, described in details what happened outside the parliament.

Lebedev said three officials approached the opposition leaders at 11 p.m. on that night and warned them that the time for the authorized rally was running out and if the protesters did not leave the square the police would have to use force against them.

The photo reporter also said in the story that the opposition activists had prepared in advance a large amount of bottles of so-called Molotov Cocktail. As reported, they brought numbers of boxes of the gas bombs to Rustaveli Avenue.

Political analyst of East European affairs for the Jamestown Foundation Vladimir Socor has called the leader of the People`s Assembly Nino Burjanadze `the leader of hooligans`, while commenting on the last two days` developments in Georgian capital. Socor said all that occurred on Rustaveli Avenue on May 26, was not a political process but hooliganism.

`They wanted to cause confrontation in the country, which might grow into a war. What happened here last night I cannot call it a political process. It was a hooliganism committed by several hundreds of armed, violent extremists. This is not politics; I call one part of Georgian opposition a constitutional opposition and the other part – a hooligan opposition. I knew Burjanadze very well when she was speaker and the interim president. She was a lady then but she has already become a leader of hooligans together with her husband,` Socor said and added the act of the police was quite justifiable.

The question is, which democratic state would allow masked protesters with Molotov cocktails to set up camp at the entrance to the Parliament building? And let them stay for three days, blocking traffic and causing economic damage in the area? And why do reporters from democratic countries where such a thing would not be tolerated, take a critical tone towards the Georgian government?

The husband of the Council`s leader Nino Burjanadze, Badri Bitsadze prevented the journalist of ITV Giorgi Chkhaidze to cover the situation at the rally last night accusing him of provocations.

Bitsadze searched the suit of the journalists with his own hands trying to find a sound or video recorder in its pocket, however, Bitsadze denied the fact afterwards.

Bitsadze remained aggressive even after this fact calling provocateurs to all other reporters who tried to take interview from him. ITV correspondent says the opposition leader`s husband was drunk and tried to cause a conflict with journalists.

Other protestors, who were also drunk, last night, have insulted journalists too.

Paradoxically, the opposition is demanding freedom of speech while violating the rights of journalists themselves.

Georgian lawmakers have condemned the facts of pressure and violence against journalists in the ongoing rallies in Tbilisi. Member of the ruling party Lasha Tordia and the speaker of the parliament commented on the incidents at the session of the bureau today.

`It is obvious that our legislation guarantees freedom of speech, including expression of opinion via manifestations, however, a very dangerous tendency has emerged at these rallies, this is the pressure on journalists. On one hand, the protestors are demanding freedom of media, on the other hand they insult journalists both morally and physically,` Lasha Tordia said and called upon all political subjects regardless of their political views to make adequate respond on the incidents.

Davit Bakradze said the government of Georgia would not accept violation of constitutional norms at any demonstration in the country and any person, who violates these norms, will be held accountable.

Some Georgian media outlets published information that the Russian secret services and the Department of Defense, which is in charge of the Southern Military District (SMD), appropriated Nino Burjanadze and her entourage $ 13 million, 7 million out of which for the Caucasus department of the Russian special services, and 6 million for the department of SMD.

The amount Burjanadze is allocated for the implementation of specific plans in Georgia, the points of which are written in stages.

The main details of the plan are as follows:

- The overthrow of the government of Georgia through the dispensation of the riots and taking the power.

- The sharp change of course of foreign policy: an unequivocal rejection from the perspective of joining NATO and the European structures without any referendum, and reorientation towards the northern direction.

- Preparation of the public to recognize the independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, and then recognition of these “states” and a final rejection of their return to Georgia.

- Appointment of Kremlin-proposed candidates to key posts of the new government, and coordination of others, especially the issues of external affairs and security with the Kremlin.

A tried and tested scheme was used for freely delivering of the sum to Burjanadze-Bitsadze:

The $ 13 million in a few months have gradually been transferred to accounts controlled by Russian security services of several private companies in Europe, and thence by stages to the companies designed for trustees of Burjanadze-Bitsadze in Turkey, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.

Russian money from the neighboring countries was imported into Georgia by variety of means, including illegal ones.

It is also alleged that the Georgian authorities have received information on the import into the country of Russian money for the coup from the circle of Nino Burjanadze and a Georgian businessman living in Moscow. However for now the law enforcement agencies of Georgia do not give any comments on this issue.

For clarity the Presa.ge contacted Nino Burjanadze’s husband, Badri Bitsadze, who, as expected, did not confirm information about getting millions from the Russian secret service, reports the Georgian agency and specifies that in response to a question to comment on details about the money Burjanadze’s husband switched off the phone.

Sergey Lavrov will arrive in occupied Abkhazia tomorrow and discuss the details of the visa free regime agreement with the terrorist  leaders and the issues of property rights for Russian citizens in the occupied regions.

Georgian authorities have assessed the visit of the Russian Foreign Minister to Georgia`s occupied territories as the violation of international obligations.

Of course, the Kremlin definitely expected opposition from the Abkhazian society due to their growing and, to say mildly, critical attitude towards its politics. But the Kremlin did not expect at all that it would put its favourite puppet leader in an impasse and decided to temporarily make a concession. The issue of Aibga that was hanging like a Damocles’ sword over the head of the Bagapsh regime was postponed again. To calm the stir in the population head of the delegation and member of the so-called Abkhazian parliament Valery Kvarchia gave an exclusive interview to reporter of the Respublika Abkhazii newspaper upon his arrival from Moscow. According to him, the Russian and Abkhazian delegations that gathered in Moscow to solve the issue of the border delimitation “came to a conclusion that it is necessary to get back to discussing this section of the border separately, at the next meeting”. Head of the delegation Valery Kvarchia proudly announced that “both parties will be guided by legislative acts of the former Soviet Union, on the basis of which the borders were formed, backed up by data of maps – administrative, forest, topography, etc, which clearly places the line between Russia and Abkhazia, and it cannot be questioned”. By the way, we should remind Mister Kvarhia that that legislative acts and maps of the former Soviet Union first of all, show the Abkhazians section of the Georgian-Russian border that passes on the River Psou and which after the collapse of the Soviet Union became the Russian-Georgian state border. And indeed inviolability of this very border is recorded on all international levels and first of all in those documents that were resented to the above committee.

It seems that Bagapsh will try his best to strengthen his quite shattered positions and to stop his ratings from further fall. Lately, against the backdrop of events that are unfolding in Sukhumi, among other spineless attempts of Bagapsh regime was organization of a round table “Abkhazia after the recognition: international aspect” where political scientist and secretary of the public chamber Natela Akaba gave a speech. “As expected, our Georgian opponents with an enviable promptness react to any perceived or real Abkhazian-Russian confrontation or conflicts of interests and just fall into the euphoria” – said Akaba.

We would like to say not just for Natela Akaba but others to hear that indeed we have been and will always be opponents of the Kremlin and its puppet regimes of all times since the first and foremost Abkhazia is our homeland and an integral part of Georgia and we will unfalteringly fight for its return to Georgia. Secondly, we do not fall into the euphoria but are sorry that in these very hard times for the Abkhazian ethnos when its identity is in danger, Georgians who for centuries have been the most close and most ardent sympathizers of Abkhazians are unable to fight side by side against the real enemy. Despite this and whether or not anyone likes it, we still make every effort as much as we can to disclose and bring to the population of Abkhazia intentions and goals of the Kremlin leaders and their puppet regime.

Here we will allow ourselves to offer a short analysis to Natela Akaba as to why this happened. First of all, this was because a significant part of the Abkhazian society that possessed power leverage was busy counting millions received from Russia “in exchange for independence”; And secondly, no less influential opposition part was busy criticizing the authorities and with their attempts to check expenditure of the received millions, and thirdly – the most numerous – ordinary people who are devoid of any power are only remembered by everyone and everywhere only during the elections and their opinion are not taken into account. But most importantly, all the above – small or big – as opposed to Natela Akaba have forgotten the unsolved conflict as majority of them are convinced that with the help of Russians everything is clear with Georgia and the Georgian population that had been expelled from Abkhazia and they are no longer in “danger” of their return. They do indeed live in euphoria and believe in Russia as a security guarantee so much that do not care a bit about three hundred thousand refugees and consider their demands for nothing. More, they nurtured hatred towards Georgians in today’s Abkhazian youth and did not even think that even virtual love for Abkhazia can make similar young people only those expelled from Abkhazia take drastic steps in future. Let no one forget that if anybody preserves Caucasian traditions Georgians are among those and we, Georgians, no less than others, if not more, pay respect and pass love for our land and respect for memory of our fathers from generation to generation. Therefore it is better for both people to search for ways towards each other rather than to deepen confrontation and hatred. We see the resolution of the conflict only in this and it has no other alternative. And if by solving the conflict Natela Akaba means the same we can only welcome this. But we doubt that it is so. It seems that today they in Abkhazia struggle to grasp a simple truth that we ask for what is ours by law.

A clear example of this is an article by Anaid Gogorian published on March 22nd in the Sukhumi-based Chegemskaya Pravda newspaper which resents results of the survey conducted by one of the international organizations among the Georgian internally displaced persons. It is not the survey that surprises but an attitude of political scientist Irakli Khintba towards unresolved problems that arose more than 18 years ago and which needs solution. One would wonder but it seems that if not for the above-motioned survey one would get an impression that Mister Khintba has been on another planet or has been sitting in a deep hole all this time and he did not see what was going on around him. Why does he or do we (meaning population of Abkhazia as well) need survey of foreigners on this issue? If he really does not know then he should ask Abkhazian aksakals (elders) who, I am sure, will tell him that even if more than half of those three hundred thousand refugees think in a way that is beneficial for him or his kind (are integrated in the Georgian society, refuse to return to Georgia, have no property claims, etc), the remaining one hundred thousand refugees still would not solve the problem. But no one should try to convince us that refugees are a problem fro the Georgian state only. We reiterate and say that a Georgian will never accept loss of the land. No one intends to give up anything. Nobody should forget this.

After this small passage let’s get back to statements made by Natela Akaba in the format of the round table. According to her, “false stereotypes are particularly strong among the liberal side of the Russian intelligentsia, judging us through the prism of the Georgian ideological myth that demonstrates the ongoing success of Georgia’s information war against Russia and Abkhazia. There are those among the Russian expert and journalistic community who seriously believe that Abkhazia is a Russian-occupied territory. But then, how would they know the truth! We, who live in Abkhazia, have not even tried to explain to the world what we expect from Russia – patronage or partnership”.

So that’s what is going on here. With all due respect but considerations of this lady are still are trapped in conscience of an Abkhazian poisoned by incurable separatism – we have driven you out, burnt and destroyed your homes, put you through genocide, declared you a guilty people. What else is there to do to get us off our back? When you saw that you cannot enter here by force as we are protected by the Russian Army you started an information war. And though you and some members of the liberal Russian intelligentsia that follow your suit, declared Russians occupants (she forgets that a part of the Abkhazian society also calls Russians occupants) but it is not so. We will try to explain the world that we only expect partnership from Russia, not patronage.

Interesting to know what would they be doing if they were not busy counting and distribution of Russian-granted millions? Who was preventing them from explaining to the world what they expect of Russia? And if Natela Akaba really hopes that after they explain to the world what they expect of Russia everything will fall into place and what’s important, Russia, as Akaba notes, “will teach them to use the net so they can catch a fish themselves” she is very much mistaken. Russia is not at all interested in economic revival of the occupied territories, especially of the separatist Abkhazia which too rarely have demonstrated nature of a “prodigal son”. What one can say, they make a pair.

There is also another matter which was unambiguously voiced by M-me Akaba. She is offering Russia to use Abkhazia in the format of the strategic partnership as a springboard to retain its influence in the Greater Caucasus – ” It is time Russia to decide in which form Abkhazia is more beneficial to have – a strategic partner and a grateful ally that could help it maintain its political influence in the Greater Caucasus, or object to implement Russian business interests in”. Everything is clear here. Let North Caucasian peoples draw their own conclusions.

Burjanadze is sure the People’s Assembly’s plan of action, which is to be announced on 2 May, will gain a lot of supporters which will take to streets and exercise important changes in the country.

Burjanadze alleges people are extremely worried about the reality in the country and are waiting for the fight to start.

She also answered to those who claim the government will not depart without bloodshed, saying nothing can ever be achieved without some risk.

‘The government’s policy is based on a lie. It is clear the lie will be destroyed one day. Let’s gather together and show the world that we are not intimidated or fooled’, she added.

This pro-Russian politician (or so she thinks she is a politician) has not thought of the many deaths in Libya because of the events there. How can a politician be good for Georgia if she wishes Georgia the same as Lybia? It is civil war and death. Is she not simple thinking of her own interests?

As reported, the Russian occupational troops besieged the local villages and broke into families. They also took local young people hostages and brutally beat them when taking to the town of Gali.

Nika Jonjua, 22, was also killed inconsequence of physical abuse and torture.
